This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.

SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support by performing varied and complex clerical, word processing and related administrative functions requiring independent judgment in the use of work methods and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The successful applicant should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.

Inputs text accurately and produces finished documents efficiently using word processing and spreadsheet programs on a computerized system; copies, compiles and distributes as necessary. Using appropriate grammar and spelling, routinely composes and creates documents from handwritten or @typewritten copy to include letters, memoranda, reports, correspondence, forms, statistical data, meeting minutes etc. Compiles, inputs or @types a variety of statistical records and reports; using electronic spreadsheet, set up and accurately maintains complex statistical information and data files. Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information both inside and outside the company. Sorts and distributes interoffice mail; reads and routes in-coming mail; locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by supervisor; prepares and meters out-going mail and packages, including certified and registered mail. Schedules appointments/meetings and arranges travel schedules and reservations, as requested. Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business and escorts visitors to appropriate person. Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent is required.

Three years of experience in a full-time secretarial or administrative office work, preferably in a similar position, is required. Additional qualifying education at an accredited college, business school, or technical institute in office administration or a related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.

A valid driver's license is required
