What You Will Do
Contractor Coordinators supporting P&W WPB F&S, Project/Contractor coordinator shall work together with P&W, other vendors, engineers/architects, construction contractors, oversight agencies as applicable to F&S projects and miscellaneous consultants to provide Project Management, design, construction, engineering and commissioning of projects. This includes, but not limited to the following:
Coordination support for existing infrastructure system Provide project -task management, quality control, planning, scheduling, administrative support, and general coordination of construction activities with various subcontractors that perform work onsite to facilitate completion of the work on schedule and in accordance with plans and specifications.
Facilitate planning discussions with appropriate architects, consultants, contractors and stakeholders and coordinate with RTX P&W operations and production teams to confirm timing of required actions and coordinate contractor/vendor labor as needed.
Coordinate work schedule with owner's, managers and cell leads for sequencing and work requirements.
Monitor organization of all construction support activities onsite.
Liaison between internal customers, Facilities & Services Group, Environmental Health & Safety Team, Architects, Contractors, and stake holders to minimize disruptions and impacts to business operations for safe and effective project execution and completion.
Review proposed changes to the work and approve subcontractor's or vendor's applications for change orders and/or time extensions in connection with changes to the work. Provide recommendations to Owner.
Conduct and record documentation of project meetings with architects, consultants, and contractors to facilitate project execution.
Monitor and expedite submittal of as-builts, maintenance and operation manuals, etc.
Coordinate and assist in conducting facility and equipment commissioning and training sessions with vendors to instruct pertinent personnel regarding system operations and process equipment utilization.
Prepare scope documents and assist owners and managers in the preparation of "front-end" documents including general and special conditions, contract formats, cost breakdown and temporary provision and exclusion specifications.
Assist in managing Shop drawings, RFI's, RFQ, submittals and related construction documents.
Coordinate daily activities with the vendors/contractors and monitor safety, ensure contract adherence, provide daily inspections, monitor preventive maintenance schedules, and provide any required communications relevant to the work.
Assist in coordinating state and local agency review, inspections, and onsite access as necessary.
Assist in on-boarding new vendors, contractors, and visitors for campus access.
Submittal of MOCs, PMRs, RIDI's, Work Requests, subsurface procedural investigation/documentation, and other related necessary project support documents.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor degree
5 years of engineering or facilities experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering or facilities experience or lieu of degree with 9 years of engineering or facilities experience.

Qualifications We Prefer
Construction knowledge and experience
Ability to communicate with tradespersons, customers, and management
Knowledge of industrial facilities and process service equipment
Knowledge of typical utility requirements and utility failures
Experience managing contractors conducting work onsite
Ability to use Microsoft Office products for daily work
Experience with construction project management software (Procore, etc.)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role @type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
