Our client, a manufacturing leader in agriculture and construction equipment is seeking a Manufacturing Business Area Manager to join their team. As a Manufacturing Business Area Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities in fabrication, machining, weld, and painting.

Pay Range: $120,000-$141,000/year + 15% Bonus
What's the Job?
Accountable for managing people and deploying resources to support the needs of the business. Provide direct supervision and insure organizational objectives align with plant and corporate objectives. Provide feedback and coaching to direct reports, and foster a teamwork environment throughout the business unit.
Accountable for meeting day-to-day and short-term targets by setting priorities for the team and ensuring task completion.
Understand long-term vision and provide direction and resources to support World Class Manufacturing objectives and cost reduction targets.
Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.
Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
What's Needed?
A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline plus a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a manufacturing facility.
General understanding of MRP/ERP production planning and material flow.
Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM)/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
SAP background preferred
Experience within fabrication, welding, or painting departments
