About the Role:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our team in Hopkins, MN. This is a full-time, in-office position reporting directly to our Controller. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Work within our accounting system, Sage Intacct, to ensure clean, accurate financial data

Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

Manage and reconcile data from various POS systems (Toast, Jackrabbit, and Procare)

Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

Support ad hoc projects and provide analysis as needed

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency with Sage Intacct - preferred

Strong experience with bank reconciliations and payroll journal entries

POS experience; familiarity with any of the following systems: Toast, Jackrabbit, Procare or similar

Solid foundation in GAAP and general ledger accounting principles

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Toast, Jackrabbit, and/or Procare

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)

Requirements - Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing journal entries and handling month-end close procedures.

Familiarity with Sage Intacct software for accounting tasks.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
