Job Summary

The role of Regional HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting Human Resources activity within the Restaurant and Resort Division - championing people development and being a figurehead for our values. Partnering with other Regional leaders to deliver value through engaged and productive teams.
Requirements
Develop strong, positive relationships with location leadership throughout the Division by providing an exceptionally high level of HR service with prompt, thorough and expert guidance
Support and guide leadership by providing direction, advice and counsel regarding employment matters and strategic guidance surrounding seasonal staffing best practices
Ensure that Local/State/Federal employment regulations and standards are followed by assisting in audits and general inquiries
Provide training, onboarding and mentoring to location leaders
Ensure all locations are operating in line with our Human Resources Core Signature standards
Utilize HR reports and data to identify opportunities to improve retention and enhance employee experiences
Partner with field leadership to build a culture that fosters employee retention, growth and development
Interpret and apply HR policy and procedure to ensure practices are fair and consistent across the Division
Assist leaders with performance coaching, evaluation and development processes
Acts as a resource for managers on employee relations concerns. Escalates to Home Office Employee Relations team per the ER escalation protocols
Assist locations in recruiting efforts which made include, but not limited to: providing guidance as a subject matter expert regarding talent acquisition systems, assisting with hourly requisitions, participating in manager interviews when requested, assisting with seasonal planning
Assist with the orientation and assimilation for new managers
Support locations in interpreting their engagement survey results and implementing action plans
Get to know and champion high potential talent in the Division. Support continual succession planning
Acts as subject matter expert to assist location leaders with payroll and MyStaff issues and questions
Ensure that location leaders are trained and utilizing the proper new hire and on-boarding tools & resources
Ensure locations are completing the required manager training programs through Compass LMS
Answer general HR policy questions as needed
Educate location leaders to communicate benefit options to eligible team members, ensuring that timely enrollment is completed
Assist location leaders with participation in Company recognition programs. Assist location leaders in sharing best practices for local recognition programs
Communicate Divisional recognition broadly in newsletters, all-hands and other communication tools.
Other duties as assigned.
