THE WORK

As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing manufacturing operations at our West Palm Beach facility. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of salary and represented hourly employees, driving process improvements, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate daily requirements for Programs, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Quality, and Material Logistics support, while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.

Basic Qualifications:

Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging.

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
