What you'll do The Project Coordinator supports the planning and delivery of capital construction and renovation projects across the Bassett Healthcare Network. Working under the supervision of senior project leadership, this role plays a key role in coordinating project documentation, assisting in scheduling and budgeting, and ensuring clear and timely communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in fast-paced healthcare environments while maintaining a focus on regulatory compliance and patient safety. Support Project Managers in coordinating project activities from design through construction close-out Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out packages Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting Coordinate communications between design teams, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders Help prepare and monitor regulatory submissions to agencies like NYSDOH, OMH, and OPWDD Participate in job site visits and assist in monitoring progress and safety protocols Ensure that infection control and interim life safety measures (ICRA/ILSM) are documented and tracked Maintain up-to-date information in project management platforms like eBuilder, Procore, or Bluebeam Assist Sr. PMs and PMs managing healthcare construction and renovation projects from design through close-out Help with coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and end users Assist with project compliance with NYSDOH, The Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, and ADA Maintain accurate documentation and participate in regulatory submissions Track budgeting, cost tracking, value engineering, project correspondence, and change management Take minutes if needed at stakeholder meetings and communicate project status to senior leadership Ensure patient and staff safety via adherence to ICRA and infection control protocols Travel regularly across Bassett facilities; hybrid work arrangements possible Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project software (e.g., Procore, eBuilder, Bluebeam) Organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively What we need from you Education: High School or GED, required 2 Year/Associate Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field, preferred Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare construction and project management, required Basic knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems (MEP, life safety, infection control, etc.), required Basic understanding of healthcare codes, standards and construction methodologies, required Experience working in active healthcare environments with phased construction, preferred Licensure/Certifications: Valid NYS Driver's license, required Ability to obtain a project management professional (PMP), certified healthcare constructor (CHC), or similar, preferred Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, eBuilder (TUC Project), required Skills: Logical Thinking Analysis & Evaluation Communication Organizing/Categorizing Records Accountability Critical Thinking Customer Service Reading/Writing/Comprehension Conflict Resolution Decision Making Interacting with People Strategic Thinking Problem Solving Physical Requirements: Light Work - Exerting up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
