Position Summary...
Walmart is seeking a visionary and technically skilled Senior Manager of Systems and Infrastructure Engineering to lead our Room and Collaboration Technology team. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic design, implementation, and operational support of AV and conferencing technologies across our enterprise. You'll ensure our meeting spaces deliver seamless, modern collaboration experiences to associates and executives, while leading a high-performing team of engineers and AV professionals
What you'll do...
AV & Collaboration Systems Management
Oversee the installation, configuration, and optimization of AV systems including video conferencing, projection, audio, and control systems.
Ensure robust maintenance schedules, lifecycle planning, and system upgrades to keep technology current and resilient.
Serve as the escalation point for major incidents impacting meeting room technology.
Team & Operational Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers and AV technicians across multiple locations.
Drive talent development, performance management, and workforce planning to align with Walmart's digital transformation.
Develop and report on KPIs to measure uptime, user experience, and service responsiveness.
Strategic Technology Planning
Partner with IT, Facilities, and Workplace Experience to ensure AV system integration supports broader digital workplace initiatives.
Participate in design planning for new spaces with a focus on scalable, intuitive AV environments.
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for AV hardware, software, and services.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
Provide executive-level support for high-visibility events and town halls.
Facilitate user training and change management as new collaboration tools or platforms are deployed.
Maintain active communication with business leaders, gathering feedback and continuously improving the AV environment.
Asset & Budget Management
Maintain accurate inventory of AV and conferencing assets and ensure proper usage tracking.
Develop and manage annual budgets for AV infrastructure and project initiatives.
Lead procurement strategy for AV equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Qualifications:
5+ years of technical experience in AV, video conferencing, or collaboration technology.
5+ years of experience managing technical teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Strong experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and/or related platforms.
Knowledge of AV networking, unified communications, and infrastructure standards.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Cisco CUCM, Polycom, Skype, or BlueJeans is a plus.
Preferred Certifications: InfoComm CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, or similar.

2 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
