Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Position Overview:
We're seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to join our executive team as Senior Vice President of Digital Platform Analytics. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for scaling the analytics vision that powers our digital products. As Senior Vice President, you will lead the charge in transforming how we leverage data to drive storytelling, optimize user experiences, and maximize digital monetization. You'll lead a best-in-class team of analysts, data scientists, and measurement experts to deliver actionable insights that shape editorial strategies, product innovation, subscription and advertising optimization.
A successful candidate will be adept at leading high-impact analytics teams in complex, matrixed environments and have a forward-looking mindset with the ability to see where audience behavior, platform trends, and data innovation are heading.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead an analytics team with a holistic vision across DTC and Editorial sites & apps, focusing on user behavior, content performance, subscription trends, and revenue optimization.
Drive deeper understanding of audience segments, engagement patterns, and consumption behaviors to inform content creation, personalization, and platform investments.
Design frameworks that measure the impact of editorial, product, and marketing efforts - including A/B testing, attribution modeling, and real-time dashboards.
Define and drive the enterprise-wide analytics strategy for all digital products, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team across data science, digital analytics, and platform intelligence.
Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to embed analytics into decision-making and digital execution.
Oversee the development of self-service analytics tools, real-time dashboards, and advanced reporting for stakeholders at all levels.
Leverage predictive modeling and experimentation to uncover growth opportunities, optimize performance, and personalize experiences.
Lead the development of forecasting models to guide investment decisions and strategic planning.
Champion data governance, integrity, and consistency across platforms and systems.
Measure and communicate the business impact of digital initiatives through KPIs, data storytelling, and executive-level reporting.
Required Qualifications
15+ years in analytics, data science, or digital transformation, with 5+ years in a senior executive or VP+ role.
Desired Characteristics
History of building high-performing, diverse teams across disciplines (data science, analytics), fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
Deep experience in digital media ecosystems - including OTT, streaming, publishing, and/or audience data platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Comscore, Nielsen, BigQuery, Snowflake).
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence at the C-level and translate complex data into strategic narratives.
Executive presence with the ability to present complex insights in compelling, strategic ways to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
Strong grasp of media monetization models (ads, subscriptions, hybrid) and how data can power each.
Track record of building and scaling high-performing, diverse teams across geographies and functions.
Advanced degree in a quantitative or business field preferred (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or MBA).

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
