Job Title: Traveling Haul Truck Operator

Job Site Location: Omaha Nebraska

Job Description

As a Haul Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating off-road dump trucks to move earth on commercial job sites. Your primary tasks will include loading and transporting dirt, as well as pulling scrapers, ensuring efficient earthmoving operations.

Responsibilities

Operate off-road dump trucks for earthmoving tasks on commercial job sites.

Load and transport dirt effectively, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Pull scrapers as required for earthwork operations.

Adhere to strict safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards.

Maintain a professional appearance and behavior as per the site code of conduct.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as off-road dump trucks.

Experience in commercial and civil construction, particularly in earthmoving and earthwork.

Strong awareness of surroundings and ability to communicate effectively to ensure safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Valid driver's license preferred, allowing for greater opportunities to operate company vehicles across different job sites.

Work Environment

Work in a civil construction site set in wide open spaces, previously farmland. The role demands adherence to high safety standards, with multiple ongoing activities requiring full attention and communication. A professional appearance and behavior are mandatory as per the site code of conduct.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
