Summary:

We are looking for an ambitious and strongly analytical team member to assist our Asset Management team. This position is responsible to work with the Asset Management leadership group, Supply Chain Procurement team, outside vendors, internal warehouse and shipping, Field Service and senior leadership. Employee will support leadership in department analytics, problem solving, company asset deployment, troubleshooting, research, activation, billing management, record keeping, reporting, tracking and metrics.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Act as a Junior Leader in the department to help support management and the team in analytic functions, day to day operations, and team projects.

Understanding the interconnection and purpose behind the data to create a meaningful result.

Assist with developing, overseeing, and reviewing new projects and their implementation

Ensures compliance with sourcing policies and procedures, ethical practices, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations

Maintain and create standard operating procedures for role, including standard works, roles and responsibilities, and Standard Operating Procedures. Making consistent recommendations to leadership and team on how to improve metrics and performance.

Updating and maintaining department forecasting, stocking strategies and buy plans for the Asset groups.

Managing multiple cell carriers, monitoring billed lines vs used lines in both the M2M and Mobile Traditional space.

Take existing SQL, Tableau, and Excel reporting and make incremental improvements to drive out cost or operational inefficiencies.

Optimize M2M and Mobile carrier lines to ensure they are well with in data constraints. Updating plans and negotiating with other departments as needed to keep usage low.

Presenting data in a meaningful way that tells a story to leadership and to the team.

Supporting role to the department Manager, acting as a leader within the team and helping to address projects and analytical needs.

Create ad-hoc reporting on an as need basis to support process improvements, team objectives, and strategic initiatives.

Communicate effectively with department leaders to assist with budget accountability and overall compliance

Respond to emails and calls from internal employees, vendors, 3rd party companies, etc. Taking immediate and appropriate action on critical events and escalate appropriately. Develop strong relationships with vendors to assist with troubleshooting

Assist with purchase orders, order tracking, order fulfilment and reconciliation.

Required Skills:

Strong SQL, and Analytical background.

Problem solving experience, including identifying an issue, implementing a course of action, and seeing it through to completion.

Growth-Mindset, learning attitude and cultivation for curiosity.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks on a short- and long-term basis.

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, employees, management, and field service employees.

Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Time management, Organization, Strong analytical skills, Decision making, and outstanding problem solver. Strong relationship skills. Responsiveness

Ability to quickly learn new applications and processes.

Required Experience:

2-3 years of applicable business experience

College degree required, preferably a business degree

Past SQL experience, Snowflake preferred.

Experience working with Tableau or similar visual analytics platform preferred

Previous experience working with cellular technologies and carriers preferred

Previous experience working in the smart home or home alarm services preferred.
