Job Title: Construction General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will collaborate with duct and kitchen cleaning crews to support crew leaders in clean-up tasks. You will employ various methods and equipment to perform cleaning operations at commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings. While most cleaning occurs outside the vents, you may occasionally need to crawl into tight spaces for thorough clean-ups. Each day begins at our shop in Warren, followed by travel to various job sites, some of which require overnight stays, with compensation provided.

Responsibilities

Assist crew leaders in clean-up tasks using various methods and equipment.

Travel to different commercial, hospital, and industrial facilities to perform cleaning duties.

Clean outside of vents and occasionally crawl into tight spaces for thorough cleaning.

Meet at the shop daily for transportation to different job sites.

Essential Skills

6+ months of general labor experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces.

Flexible with shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with potential schedule changes.

Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about basic hand tools.

Valid driver's license or state ID.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning.

Proficiency with vacuums and power washers.

Leadership experience or the ability to lead crews.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
