The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Temporary Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading an hourly manufacturing team of 40+ operators on a rotating or fixed 3 and 4 crew shift schedules while managing plant manufacturing processes / closely monitoring KPIs
Driving plant safety with EHS and operator team to identify and problem solve escalated opportunities with focus on PSM covered processes.
Championing Lean Manufacturing through continuous improvement project identification and execution
Engaging with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure orders are produced according to product standards and on time for customer
Willingness to be on-call

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School diploma/GED or higher and five (5) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
-OR-
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
Knowledge of ASP system
LSS Green Belt Training and Certification
PSM covered process engineering experience
Experience with 3M's Manufacturing Model
Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ERP systems

Competitive Salary: The starting pay rate for this position is $34.84. This range represents a good-faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
