You will play a key role on the WK Kellogg manufacturing team by driving overall plant initiatives to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and delivering cost savings through building capability in others, utilizing K-IWS methodologies, systems, and tools.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Tools for Success - Deploying strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Problem Solving, Process Mapping, etc. to deliver site OEE and cost savings goals.
Drive Change - Enabling capability in others to drive change within the plant environment. Drive and support cost ideations, problem solving, autonomous maintenance activities, digital tools. Track and communicate projects for visibility between other plant functions, corporate partners, sister plants and Operational Excellence teams.
Continuous Improvement - Document standard processes and procedures. Facilitate and coach RCA events when target performance is not met. Integrate K-IWS system health checks and project monitoring into the current structure to ensure the sustainability of improvements.
Strategize to Win - Continually collaborating with hourly personnel and supervisors to identify, validate, and execute projects to drive out chronic and sporadic losses, utilizing K-IWS systems and tools. Own a specific area of the facility driving OEE improvement through training, coaching, facilitating improvement plans and strategies, utilizing data analysis, delivering a reduction in minor stops and breakdowns while maintaining measurement standards.
Empower Efficiency - Transform manufacturing capabilities working with frontline personnel to Identifying process inefficiencies. Support team approaches to solving problems, and while leading activities using cross-functional resources. Conduct health checks on programs and systems to ensure they meet K-IWS standards of excellence.
Take a New Angle - Developing and executing training for operators, front line leaders, and site leadership on K-IWS methodologies, systems and tools. Provide support and leadership in the transition to digital factory management.
Empower Teams - Supporting plant implementation of AM, RM and Op-Ex by workshop participation, data analysis, coaching for supervisors, and hourly associates to ensure their capability to lead work teams.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
HS Diploma/GED and experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, K-IWS, IWS, HPO, SMED) and/or Process Optimization
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization & influence others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willing to work weekends if needed
Willing to flex start time of daily schedule if needed
Bonus Points:
Bachelor's Degree
Food manufacturing experience
Experience in a Union environment
Proficiency with SAP
Demonstrated ability to plan work and manage priorities, manage complexity & utilize your problem-solving/analytical skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization
Salary Range: $85,360 - $117,370
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
