Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a project superintendent to join our team for immediate projects. These projects include interior office tenant improvement (TI) projects and healthcare renovations. The superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring safety, managing subcontractors, and maintaining the project schedule. This role also involves providing weekly updates and running progress meetings for owners.

Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day operations on-site.

Ensure safety on-site.

Manage subcontractors.

Maintain project schedule.

Provide weekly updates to owners.

Run progress meetings for owners.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Order and schedule materials.

Write reports and maintain computer skills.

Utilize project management software.

Essential Skills

Blueprint reading

Project scheduling

Subcontractor management

Material ordering and scheduling

Report writing and computer skills

Knowledge of project management software

OSHA safety compliance

Experience in commercial construction

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent

Experience in interior/occupied space construction

Experience maintaining project sites

Experience managing multiple subcontractors on a tight schedule and space

Ability to run project schedules and material delivery schedules

Work Environment

The superintendent will be working on-site in an office building. They will have a dedicated space to complete paperwork and reports. Project management support will be provided from the office. This position is not remote

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
