Job Description

We are seeking a skilled assembler to execute complex assembly tasks, including advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.

You will read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure the correct assembly of components.

Your role will include troubleshooting, diagnostics, and coaching lower-level assemblers on techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve assembly process issues.

Coach and train lower-level assemblers on techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.

Continuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.

Perform final quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet company standards.

Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly.

Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment.

Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and provide continuous improvement suggestions.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly or manufacturing roles (3-5 years).

Leadership or team supervision experience.

Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents.

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to train and mentor junior team members.

Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working on an assembly line.

Mechanical assembly of small and large parts.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Ability to use schematics to assemble parts with a low error rate.

Experience in production and general assembly line work.

Work Environment

The work environment includes lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as required.

The role may also require climbing portable ladders.

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be required.

The position demands good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
