Job Summary:\ Alta Vista Locker is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our meat processing facility. The Cleaner plays a critical role in ensuring a hygienic environment that meets USDA, FSIS, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize processing areas, equipment, tools, and floors

according to established sanitation procedures and SSOPs

Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals and personal protective

equipment (PPE)

Remove waste and dispose of it according to company and regulatory

guidelines

Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas daily

Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required by food safety

and regulatory standards

Perform deep-cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis or as directed

Communicate any safety or maintenance issues to management promptly

Follow all safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols

Qualifications:

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience in a food or manufacturing

facility preferred

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Comfortable working in cold or wet environments and around raw meat

products

Must be dependable and able to work independently or with a team

Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, bending, and

carrying items up to 50 lbs

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding

environment that may include exposure to cold, wet, or loud conditions.
