Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Stacker/Packer to join their team. As a Stacker/Packer, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Stacker/Packer
Location: Murray, KY
Pay Range: $15.50
Shift: 2nd & 3rd shifts
What's the Job?
Pack product into shipping containers and stack off cases of finished products for shipment to the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area while adhering to all safety regulations.
Report any food safety concerns immediately to supervisors or plant management.
Utilize packaging specifications to verify necessary packaging and code date requirements.
Assist line associates with training new team members and maintaining material control.
What's Needed?
Ability to understand general arithmetic and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of safety programs and practices to maintain an accident-free workplace.
Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to participate in all plant initiatives related to safety and quality.
Experience with computer applications, specifically Internet Explorer.
