Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker- $19/hr

Job Description

Join a dynamic distribution company that manufactures automotive parts as a long-term Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker. This role involves working on the second shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Candidates will be responsible for receiving, restocking inventory, dispatch, and overstock management while utilizing stairs and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

Receive and restock inventory, manage dispatch and overstock.

Load and unload materials from trucks.

Break down boxes and package items for shipment.

Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.

Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.

Package items for shipment.

Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry.

Essential Skills

Experience in picking, packing, and packaging.

Proficiency in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Ability to handle shipping and receiving tasks.

Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally.

Comfortable using rolling safety ladders and stairs up to 15 steps.

Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat.

Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud due to forklifts and machinery operating throughout the facility. Employees are expected to wear plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. The second shift runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Safety is prioritized, with the use of stairs and RF scanners being a regular part of the role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
