Financial Accounting Analyst LOCATION: Columbus, WI SUMMARY: This position owns and assists in various accounting department duties (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, costing, budgeting, account reconciliations, etc.). Tasks may vary depending on COE needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with accounts payable activities (coding, entering and proofing of voucher packages). Generate accounts payable checks, ACH, and communicate wire information to corporate as needed. Respond to vendor inquiries and work with internal teams to resolve issues within the three-way match of invoices for payment. Manage the accounts receivable collection process. (Follow up on past due invoices, collection calls, conduct A/R meetings, etc.). Assist with accounts receivable activities (material invoicing, cash application, intercompany reconciliations, special billing, etc.). Month End Closing and Account Reconciliations. Assist with annual budget process, external audit procedures, and other quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Other special projects and duties as assigned. Must have ability to be cross-trained and used to assist or backup other areas of accounting.
