Description

Our client, a manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll and benefits administration for a multi-state workforce. Based in the Lansdale, Pennsylvania area, this role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, compliance with regulations, and handling employee inquiries with professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS platforms and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Collect, verify, and input employee timekeeping data into payroll systems.

Assist in calculating bonuses and other compensation components during monthly, quarterly, and year-end processing.

Address employee and management inquiries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Prepare and deliver payroll reports to supervisors and relevant departments upon request.

Oversee 401(k) retirement plan administration and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to identify and correct discrepancies.

Collaborate with external vendors, including payroll and benefits providers, to ensure seamless operations.

Manage the distribution of W-2 forms to employees and resolve any related issues.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.

Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as UltiPro, Kronos, or UKG Pro.

Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and compliance requirements.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.

Familiarity with benefits administration, including 401(k) and insurance programs.

Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and discretion.

Excellent problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and inquiries.

Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
