Hiring for a Accounting Clerk in Sunrise!

Job Description

The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial operations. This position involves a variety of tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining organized records, and contributing to financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Timely input of receipts and resolution of complex collection issues.

Oversee the processing of payments and monitor overdue accounts.

Verify and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Ensure invoices are being sent to customers automatically, with manual input as needed.

Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.

Provide necessary support during internal and external audits.

Process employee reimbursements accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial inquiries or issues.

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

Ensure all financial activities align with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Accurately input financial data into accounting software.

Perform additional tasks to assist the finance department.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with pivot tables and v-lookups.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Quantum, Avsight, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Capability to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to shifting circumstances.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
