Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. In many places you'll find it hard to maintain a healthy work-life/personal-life balance because the pace of one is indistinguishable from the other. Not here. Responsibilities

Are you a passionate and experienced application analyst with a deep understanding of EHR systems like Epic and Meditech? Do you thrive in a role where you can leverage your technical expertise to improve patient care and empower healthcare professionals? If so, CommonSpirit Health wants you!

As a Senior Application Analyst, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for all phases of EHR system content, from design and build to testing, implementation, and maintenance. You'll be a subject matter expert, preparing detailed specifications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our applications deliver optimal performance. Your compassion for others and your technical skills will directly impact the lives of our patients and the efficiency of our care teams.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, test, implement, and maintain EHR system content (Epic and Meditech).

Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues with workflow or EHR build.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, application workflow, and detailed reports.

Ensure appropriate user access based on Role Based Access Control (RBAC).

Coordinate the provisioning of new employees with system access.

Act as the primary owner of additional applications (e.g., Vocera, CenTrak), ensuring functionality and maintenance.

Develop and maintain EHR training materials and provide training to new users.

Occasionally work outside standard hours to complete testing during system patches and software upgrades.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR 10 total years of experience in IT and/or information/clinical experience.

Required: 6+ years of experience in application support, implementation, or development in a hospital or medical-related industry.

Required: Meditech experience.

Preferred: Epic certification and/or Epic badges.

Deep understanding of electronic health records (EHR) and their impact on healthcare delivery.

Pay Range

$33.52 - $48.60 /hour
