Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

What We Need:

This role involves picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment according to customer orders and division policies. This individual ensures accurate and complete shipping of both stock and custom products. Maintains precise reporting of all shipping transactions in SAP. Immediately reports any shipping issues to the Group Leader. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by participating in ad hoc committees and teams as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

Picks, packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with division policies and procedures.

Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, daily cycle counts, maintenance of finished goods warehouse and receipting of finished goods into the respective inventories in accordance with established procedures.

Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in SAP.

Reports any shipping related problems as they occur to the Logistics Manager.

Supports goals of continuous improvement by serving on ad hoc committees and or teams as required.

Contacts carriers for service.

Other job duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent education.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to push or pull up to 20 lbs.

Ability to climb up to 12 ladder rungs, with the role requiring constant standing and occasional walking.

Proficiency in computer usage.

At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in shipping or finished goods departments.

Familiarity with SAP software is preferred.
