Job Title: Supply Chain ManagerJob Description
Establish policies, procedures, and work processes that ensure Planning and Purchasing activities are conducted at a high level with unquestioned ethics, in compliance with all applicable regulations. Develop and effectively utilize a network of supplier contacts; work within the network to ensure appropriate competitiveness among approved suppliers. Manage negotiations and agreements with vendors and suppliers in a manner that provides the best possible cost position and highest value. Lead all aged and obsolete inventory activities with customers. Provide monthly reports to customers indicating aged and obsolete inventory on hand and financial costs. Measure and assess the capabilities, delivery, and quality performance of vendors and suppliers. Analyze costs and efficiency to determine and implement effective lean supply chain strategies in all areas of responsibility. Monitor and analyze current trends in the marketplace. Collaborate with all departments and functions to satisfy the needs of internal customers while meeting supply chain needs.
Responsibilities

Manage negotiations and agreements with vendors and suppliers to achieve the best cost position and highest value.
Lead aged and obsolete inventory activities with customers and provide monthly reports on inventory and financial costs.
Measure and assess the capabilities, delivery, and quality performance of vendors and suppliers.
Analyze costs and efficiency to implement effective lean supply chain strategies.
Monitor and analyze current trends in the marketplace.
Collaborate with all departments to meet internal customer and supply chain needs.
Maintain confidentiality of high-level information regarding customers, projects, or organizational issues.
Manage costs and spending for all purchased items including raw materials and MRO items.
Monitor inventory turnover and expenses including working capital, storage/handling, and storage facility operation.
Update monthly production line capacity utilization.
Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Supply Chain.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree with a strong emphasis in operations management, business, material flow, or related discipline.
5+ years of progressive responsibility in management of operations or supply chain functions.
Ability to successfully manage and lead multiple site operations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write reports and present findings.
Demonstrated excellence in project management.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and experience with Google Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience as a Master Scheduler.
Customer service or customer-facing experience.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
