Reputable mid-sized firm is seeking a litigation associate with at least one year of experience to join their collaborative and dynamic team in Sacramento, California. Ideal candidates will have a background in civil litigation, a desire to learn employment law, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases while contributing to a respected and well-regarded law firm.

Responsibilities:

Handle a variety of litigation matters, including employment law cases, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Draft comprehensive pleadings, discovery responses, and motions that meet high-quality standards.

Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal forums.

Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to develop case strategies and achieve client goals.

Manage case deadlines and client expectations to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication and top-notch legal services.

Mentor less experienced associates and contribute to the firm's growth and development initiatives.

Participate in firm-sponsored training and skill-building programs to enhance expertise.

Stay updated on changes in employment law and other relevant legal areas to provide informed counsel.

Requirements

Possess 1+ years of litigation experience..

Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with precision and clarity.

Strong research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and effective client relationships.

High academic achievement and a strong commitment to excellence.

Active membership in the California State Bar.
