Job Summary

A Skilled Construction Carpenter will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks on the construction site including site preparation, use of hand and power tools, and cleanup of the job site.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.

Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.

Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.

Reading and interpreting blueprints.

Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.

Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Receives and carries out instructions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.

Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 feet.

Works well as part of a team.

Ability to travel as needed.

Ability to work alone once instructions have been given.

Ability to work a 40-hour week with overtime.
