Description

Looking for a staff accountant to join a small, but mighty team. Highly visible role, good way to get ultra hands on experience. In office role, located close to the Bronx.

Month-End Close Assistance: Support the CFO in preparing and completing the monthly financial close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and the preparation of financial statements.

Accounts Payable Management: Process and manage accounts payable (AP), including invoice verification, expense coding, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Accounts Receivable Oversight: Handle accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including invoice generation, cash application, and monitoring customer account balances to ensure timely collections.

Collaboration with CFO: Work closely with the CFO to document financial transactions, provide analysis support, and assist in strategic financial decision-making as needed.

General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accuracy within the general ledger by recording transactions properly and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

Motivated

1-3 years experience

AP/AR/MEC
