Job Description
This position will be Thursday - Monday from 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM.
Safely operate a forklift, including a standing forklift, to load trucks and move inventory from one location to another.
Perform routine machine adjustments.
Accurately maintain inventory records and paperwork.
Assist with monthly inventory counts, year-end inventory counts, and cycle counts as required.
Accurately maintain shipping paperwork.
Assist with powder sampling in accordance with U.S.D.A. guidelines
Maintain safe work habits, wear personal protective equipment, obey safety rules, and overall contribute to a safe work environment.
Attends required training, including but not limited to, GMP's, HAACP, SQF, Safety, etc.
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement to include Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work.
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
Firmly adhere to the values and ethics of DFA. Exhibit honesty, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.

Requirements
Education and Experience
1+ year manufacturing or production experience preferred
1-3 years of previous forklift experience required
Certification and/or License - forklift certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Able to work in a team oriented environment and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse team.
Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing (including legible writing).
Able to perform routine machine adjustments.
Able to show willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; able to present options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures.
Able to take on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be done.
Able and willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.
Able to adapt to changing situations and perform all tasks when and where assigned.
Able and willing to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision.
Able to maintain a positive "can do" outlook, rebound quickly from frustrations and unpleasantness, and maintain composure and a friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations.
Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
