Job Title: Accounts Payable
Location: Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid)
Pay rate $25-28 per hour

About the Role
Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking an Accounts Payable to join their team. Our client is seeking motivated accounting professionals to support financial operations for the North America market. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.
What's the Job?
Partner with management team and respective business unit controller/manager on managing Balance Sheet and P&L (BCOP Cost Centers) for respective operating and/or holding entities.
Coordinate with shared service team and manage intercompany (NPS cross charges approval), fixed assets, AUC aging and IFRS 16 leases processes - includes review and approval of BS reconciliations.
Responsible for month close journal entries - including but not limited to payroll entries, benefits accounting, accruals and prepaids.
Sign off on respective entities for IC lock, supplemental loads, BS movements and final submission into HFM/Fusion
Responsible for completion of BS flux analysis; presenting to business controllers and financial directors monthly. Includes detailed analysis on sundry accruals, benefits accruals, insurance, and warehousing/freight accruals.
Preparation of annual and quarterly government reporting.
Execute internal controls and maintain documentation
Work with external and internal auditors for documentation and queries management.
Generate ad hoc analysis/reports as needed.
What's Needed?
BS degree in finance or accounting preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office Products
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadlines.
Ability to take on new tasks
