Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description

This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

Complete entries in QuickBooks accurately

Manage Accounts Receivable and assist with Accounts Payable as needed

Research discrepancies in numbers and implement corrections

Maintain and improve internal financial controls

Assist with invoicing

Assist with purchasing and submit Purchase Orders

Assist with Administrative Assistant duties such as answering the phone and guest check-in as needed

Filing

Essential Skills

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred

3 years of accounting experience preferred

High Mathematical Aptitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with accounts payable and receivable

Experience with invoicing

Work Environment

Small office with fewer than 5 employees where everyone covers for their partners. The hours are typically from 8am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
