Objective of Position :
The Sr. Divisional Assistant is responsible for providing the Group Manager and/or commercial relationship managers with administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides administrative functions for the Group Manager and/or commercial relationship managers.
Handles daily communication with borrowers for routine transactions and obtains necessary documentation to satisfy loan closing and servicing conditions.
Provides accurate, regular updates to clients, lenders, analysts, and management.
Completes loan approval review to determine borrower, guarantor, collateral, and other required closing conditions.
Partners with closing attorney to ensure loan documents meet all legal requirements and recommendations are satisfied.
Maintains the accuracy of the loan file, including all packaging documents, satisfaction of credit condition, and compliance with lending requirements.
Audits loan files for completeness and ensures all bank requirements and guidelines have been met including appropriate documentation for approved exceptions.
Collects invoices and prepares internal closing statements ensuring all appraisal, environmental, title and other search fees.
Manages the closing of transactions, including working with title companies and/or closing attorney to ensure all parties are in balance and all documents are properly executed and returned.
Disburse loan proceeds and reconcile all invoices.
Performs pre-close and post-close loan searches, including UCC searches, title search, etc.
Monitor USDA fees and real estate taxes to ensure payments are timely and accurate.
Assists borrower with wires, ACH, draws, statements, and other standard requests.
Monitors borrower insurance policies and work with internal/external parties to ensure Bank has current certificates.
Ensures all documentation is saved electronically in accordance with bank policy.
Provides efficient, courteous customer service, research problems and implement the appropriate resolution for borrowers.
Prepares line draws, account transfers, wire transfers when needed and follow up on exception items.
Works with loan officer to determine and open the appropriate accounts and obtain necessary documentation.
Updates and monitor customer information requests for loan servicing tickler report.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of divisional assistant experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
Strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.
Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects, and implement high quality solutions.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to directly manage and communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies.
Possess strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. Compensation & Benefits:
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
The salary range for this position is between $61,000 to $76,000.
In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
