Job Title: Project Construction Superintendent (Contract Role)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage and oversee day-to-day operations on commercial interior fit-out projects. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings with clients and contractors.

Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of the field labor force.

Review and familiarize yourself with the project budget and general conditions estimate.

Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with the Project Manager.

Develop and maintain site logistics plans in coordination with the Project Manager and clients and contractors.

Conduct quality and safety inspections.

Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.

Communicate and enforce the company's Safety and Health Management Program.

Manage schedules, including preparation of look-ahead schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates.

Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports.

Participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings, and conduct foreman's meetings.

Essential Skills

Familiarity with construction trades.

1-2 years of previous carpentry experience.

5-10 years of working experience as a superintendent.

Experience working on commercial interior fit-out projects.

Proficiency in Procore.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
