This pivotal role as Mechanical Assembler V - Team Lead immerses you in a high-stakes manufacturing environment, where you'll lead a team in the meticulous assembly of high-pressure oxygen cylinders on a large scale. This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday with the possibility of required overtime.
This position includes a $3,500 Sign On Bonus for new employees.
What You Will Do:
Transform designs into reality. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to ensure precision in assembly and production.
Master the tools of the trade. Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment with skill and accuracy.
Stay organized and efficient. Maintain an accurate inventory of products in workstations to keep production on track.
Ensure quality at every step. Perform meticulous quality checks, identify defects, and document findings to uphold high standards.
Adapt and innovate. Rework and repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes.
Prioritize safety and excellence. Perform all tasks in compliance with quality standards and established safety protocols.
Contribute to a safe workspace. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for yourself and your team.
Meet physical demands. Lift up to 25 lbs as needed and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day to maintain production efficiency.
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS diploma and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
