How you will contribute
We are seeking Managers for our growing Transfer Pricing practice. In this role, you will assist our clients with the development of cross-border prices that meet strategic goals and comply with international tax and transfer pricing regulations. What Will You Be Doing?
As a Manager of the Transfer Pricing practice, you will:
Act as the day to day lead on client engagements
Manage and oversee detailed economic and financial analyses including:
Intellectual property valuations for tax and transfer pricing purposes
Intercompany services, tangible goods and intellectual property transactions
Debt capacity and intercompany interest rate analyses
Business models, supply chains and future growth strategies for clients and "issue spot" or identify transfer pricing opportunities
Assist with post-merger integration following a life event for a company
Conduct comprehensive transfer pricing and tax valuation studies, including the application of advanced economic and financial principles to assess and document the arm's length nature of intercompany transactions.
Oversee the preparation of planning and compliance transfer pricing documentation
Conduct transfer pricing specific due diligence for strategic and corporate buyers and sellers
Scoping, drafting, and presenting of proposals, document requests, reports, and marketing materials to new and existing clients
Assist clients with transfer pricing related controversy work through seeking Competent Authority or obtaining Advanced Pricing Agreements
Work closely with teams across multiple disciplines (Corporate tax, international tax, transaction tax, tax efficient supply chain management) and jurisdictions.
Lead client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
Create deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed critical by the client
Mentor Associates and Senior Associates by delegating appropriate tasks, ensuring they complete tasks efficiently and sharing best practices
Build client relationships and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses; with opportunity to assume additional responsibility quickly
Build internal relationships and support group go-to-market initiatives (e.g., thought leadership)
Value diversity of perspectives and creates opportunities for individuals to feel comfortable contributing
Qualifications:
5 years of Transfer Pricing experience with consulting / advisory related projects
Prior supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree is required, with preferred majors in economics, finance, statistics or mathematics
CPA, Licensed Attorney, American Society of Appraisers (ASA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or an advanced degree (Ph. D or Masters) in business, finance, economics, management, policy analysis, statistics or mathematics preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
Experience with all Microsoft Office products (with an emphasis on Excel)
Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
High motivation to learn and grow
Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills

The salary range is $110,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, AandM offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
