Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support the efficient operation of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

Perform follow-ups with patients.

Update patient records through data entry.

Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service.

Order labs and relay lab results to patients.

Schedule follow-up appointments.

Triage and provide clinical support as needed.

Essential Skills

1+ year of experience in Medical Assisting.

Medical Assisting diploma or certification, or 1+ years of MA experience preferred but not required.

High School Diploma.

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Athena.

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Customer service experience.

Front desk experience.

BLS certification.

Insurance handling knowledge.

Work Environment

This position involves working onsite at a clinic, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, and holiday pay (6 paid holidays). Upon permanent hire, employees receive 9 paid holidays and 15 days of PTO. Exceptional performance can lead to pay raises, and employees can earn PTO tokens for outstanding actions, which can be used at any time. We also host regular employee appreciation events such as dinners, lunches, and parties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
