Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder in Wilkes Barre, PA

$1824 or more per week - And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Borough Trip Pay: $65.00 per Trip

Solo Miles Pay:?$0.71 per Mile with 1800 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay:?$23.34 per Stop with 20 Stops per Week

Premium Pay- $65 for going into the Burroughs

Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per layover, 2-3 nights per week

Overnight for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

Sign On Bonus:?Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start Time: 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Deliver SOLO?To:?CT, MA, ME, RI, MD, VA, NY and NJ (including 5 boroughs)

Tractor Type: Day Cab

Trailer?Type:?Dry Van, 42' - 53'

Equipment: Manual and Electric Pallet Jack

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight: Touch - Hardware Products

Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire

We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
