Transportation Delivery Operations Manager Third Party, 1st Shift

1st Shift - 8:00am Start/Monday-Friday (some weekend support, as needed).

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Party Operations Manager to join our team in North America. This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's third-party delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

Define customer service level expectations and delivery requirements.

Develop internal performance and quality metrics for each customer account.

Ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to end customers.

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving delivery issues.

Coordinate with and influence other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Provide training and support to delivery personnel.

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field or relevant work experience.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer-facing account management in addition to logistics operations management.

Knowledge of transportation systems and processes.

Ability to manage external customers and deliver on contracted SLA's.
