We are extending an opportunity for a Staff Accountant to be a part of our team based in San Bernardino, California. The primary function of this role is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of customer applications, maintain customer records with precision, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism. This position also involves monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately handling the process of customer credit applications

Keeping precise records of customer credit

Performing journal entries as part of the month-end close process

Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations

Maintaining the general ledger in an organized manner

Assisting with external audit procedures

Collaborating closely with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments

Assisting with special projects as required

Undertaking tasks as deemed necessary by management

Supporting the year-end reconciliation and closing process.

Requirements - The candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar.

Proficiency in executing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is required.

The candidate should be able to conduct Bank Reconciliations with accuracy.

Ability to handle and maintain General Ledger is a must.

The candidate should have experience in making Journal Entries.

The candidate should be capable of performing Month End Close tasks.

Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary.
