Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS MANAGER in the NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND CONUS EAST DIVISION of NMCLANT DET MAYPORT FL. Responsibilities You will serve as the senior liaison with program managers and other high-ranking program officials overseeing the installation's activities on all matters related to the accomplishment of the FOS mission. You will manage the logistical and operations support, magazine and/or waterfront and airfield operations for the Detachment. You will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the work of subordinate supervisors. You will manage and direct all matters relating to the Detachment's FOS mission including the Receipt, Storage, Segregation, and Issue (RSS and I) functions. You will provide transportation management services for five (5) NMC operating sites in the Southeast Region. You will establish requirements and work priorities, sequencing of operations, functional moves, equipment and material resources, and oversee functions that affect the timely accomplishment of the mission. You will review ordnance operations to ensure compliance with ordnance publications, directives and safety requirements, to include taking corrective action to ensure safety of operations. You will oversee and monitor financial and business metrics, and supply requirements to meet administrative and operational requirements. You will ensure full support and compliance with explosives safety and Naval Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12-grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience writing position papers, reports, letters, memorandums, and presenting detailed analyses, findings and recommendations to groups of all sizes and composition on a wide range of topics. Experience with ammunition, distribution and control, ordnance inventory management, operations planning, production planning, ordnance transportation management and NAVOSH regulatory requirements. Experience with and knowledge of the ordnance program relationships and the roles and responsibilities of supporting organizations in the Navy ordnance management system, to include NAVSUP P-724 inventory covering and guidance. Experience with personnel processes, to include recruitment, discipline, staffing, organizational development, performance management, awards, and labor relations. Experience with workload and financial management, as well as developing, monitoring, analyzing and directing changes in the business aspects of the Detachment's Operational planning.
