Manufacturing Finisher

Description

Our Manufacturing Finisher conducts several tasks throughout the manufacturing facility including:

Sandblasting

Operates specialized machinery that fires high powered jets of sand at metal assemblies within a specialized sandblast room.

Responsible for removing paint, grime, adhesives, rust or imperfections to the surface of large metal structures in order to get it prepared for paint finishing.

Highly physical position that involves a degree of stamina and upper body strength

Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid any possible damage to others as well as production.

Assembly

Mechanical Assembler - responsible for the assembly of large and small complex parts from start to finish using a variety of hand/power tools, fixtures, and work instructions. It is detail-oriented and involves working in a team environment while standing for long periods at a time

Caulker Assembler - responsible for the caulking of large and small complex parts from start to finish using a caulking tool and following work instructions. It is detail-oriented and involved maneuvering in tight spaces

Skills Required

general labor, sandblasting, power tool experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school or GED Diploma.

1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Positive attitude. Show why you want to work here every single day!

Flexible with schedule, to allow for coverage across shifts and additional duties.

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Ability to follow instructions.

Must be able to work around and with chemicals and sand products.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Capable to perform and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
