JACOBS is seeking an Operations Manager/ Deputy Program Manager (DPM) at the city of Centennial, Colorado project to assist the Program Director (PM) in the overall management and leadership of the project operations and maintenance deliverables, including, but not limited to safety, quality assurance, staff recruiting; training, development, mentoring, coaching and disciplinary actions and procurement of equipment and materials. In this role, you'll assist the PM in coordinating the planning, development, and implementation of service delivery innovations with project staff to maximize JACOBS program efficiency, quality and service integrations. The DPM assumes project management responsibility of the city of Centennial project in the PM's absence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to performing the duties and responsibilities as directed by the PM, which may include, but is not limited to, the following:
Assists with leading and managing the project team through all phases of program planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout consistent with established program delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
Ensures the project scope of work for Field Services and Facilities is completed in accordance with the contractual requirements and to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders.
Committed to insuring that JACOBS's HS&E, quality, risk management, business and policy expectations are met with internal staff and oversight of subcontractors performing work under Jacobs' responsibility, necessary to meet the Operations and Maintenance services to the City of Centennial.
Plays a role in business development activities, which typically include, program-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, and oral presentations.
Manages the delivery of services and activities of the Field Services Division including construction, maintenance, repair, and sweeping of the city streets and sidewalks, vegetation control, snow and ice control, and emergency response planning and implementation
Ensures services and materials provided are in accordance with the current industry standards and specifications, including but not limited to the City of Centennial, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
Utilizes a workflow management system and database (Cartegraph/Cityworks) to manage work orders, monitor work progress, and provide quality control of all services performed in the division
Maintains an awareness of new trends in the field of street maintenance to incorporate new developments as appropriate
Develops and implements long and short-term plans, goals, and objectives for the division
Assists the Program Director in developing and administering the budget for the division and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget
Serves as the liaison for the division with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies and represents the division at community meetings
Performs other similar duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation, or a closely related field
Colorado PE license is required or the ability to obtain the credentials through reciprocity within ninety (90) days.
Minimum 12+ years of related experience, including a minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role
Strong interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other employees, government officials, contractors, suppliers, and the general public
Intermediate computer software skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess and maintain a current valid State driver's license with no major infractions.
Must be capable of personally driving a company vehicle in the performance of the duties contained herein

Must be able to transport self across the project site and infrequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
