Mechanical Construction Supervisor

System One is currently seeking a Mechanical Construction Supervisor on a 12 month contract position for a wind farm located near Burlington, CO.
Mechanical Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, piping, boilers and industrial machinery.
Develop detailed work schedules for mechanical construction activities, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, and planning resource allocations including labor equipment and materials.
Provide training, mentoring and support to team members.
Monitor workforce performance.
Resolve personnel issues as needed.
Ensure that all work complies with project specifications, mechanical codes and safety standards.
Perform inspections to verify system performance.
Maintain detailed records of quality control processes.
Supply information to the project manager regarding budgetary constraints and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Participate in safety meetings and conduct regular site walks to assess progress and identify challenges are also key responsibilities.
Act as main point of contact for all mechanical aspects of the project and provide regular progress updates to the project manager, construction manager and stakeholders.
Mechanical Construction Supervisor Requirements:
5-7 years of mechanical experience on wind turbine systems
Proven leadership skills beyond the foreman level
Technical background
Valid drivers license is required
Duration: 12 months
Location: Burlington, CO
Pay Rate: $67-71/hr
PD: $178/day
