Job Title: Staff AccountantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage financial reporting, ensure adherence to GAAP, and maintain internal controls and company policies. The successful candidate will perform and improve month-end reconciliations, review monthly financial results, and assist with year-end audits and data requests. This role also includes preparing and finalizing operating budgets, maintaining cash flow forecasts, and ensuring compliance with financial covenants.

Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting to ensure adherence with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.

Perform and improve the month-end reconciliations and close processes for multiple entities.

Review monthly financial results and prepare reporting package for final review by the Controller.

Identify and develop process improvements while maximizing the full potential of Sage Intacct.

Assist with year-end audit and data requests.

Prepare and finalize operating budgets.

Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts.

Prepare quarterly reporting required by lenders, actively monitor and ensure compliance with financial covenants.

Maintain cash collections for internal rental agreements and payments.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Base level of Excel skills.

Understanding of GAAP, P&L reviews, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ability to post journal entries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Open to entry-level candidates or those with 1+ years of experience.

A bubbly personality who cares about being part of a team.

Work Environment

This position is completely onsite with regular working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility of about 1 hour. You will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and working alongside 2 other staff accountants and 1 senior accountant.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
