Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a highly organized and meticulous Sr. Buyer in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with handling due diligence for newly-approved vendors, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and implementing efficient procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

Establish and implement due diligence procedures for newly approved vendors in the region, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.

Confirm the accuracy and timeliness of two-way receipts for goods and services, ensuring they meet the specified criteria.

Identify and implement opportunities for improving regional procurement processes, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and compliance.

Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors to enhance supplier performance and tackle any issues that may arise.

Enforce procurement compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, while generating reports to track procurement KPIs and performance.

Liaise with various departments, such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives.

Generate accurate and timely purchase orders with vendors based on organizational needs, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.

Oversee the approval of receipt of goods and services, comparing invoice values with goods received.

Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements - Strong expertise in the role of a Buyer, with a proven track record in the field.

Proficient in using Concur for managing expenses and invoices.

Extensive experience in creating, managing, and tracking Purchase Orders.

Demonstrable skills in Purchasing Procurement, capable of managing and optimizing procurement processes.

Advanced knowledge of Excel Formulas, with the ability to use them for data analysis and reporting in the purchasing @context.
