Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

This individual will be responsible for general labor tasks to ensure the facility and working areas are clean and operational. Duties include greasing and oiling conveyors, cleaning spoils, and ensuring material piles are correctly located and stocked. The role involves using a 5-yard bucket loader and conducting basic preventative maintenance. Safety is mandatory, and the position requires adherence to lockout tagout procedures when working on equipment. This entry-level position offers opportunities for quick advancement to lead roles.

Responsibilities

Ensure the facility and working areas are clean and operational.

Grease and oil all conveyors.

Clean up spoils.

Ensure material piles are correctly located and stocked using a 5-yard bucket loader.

Conduct basic preventative maintenance such as greasing conveyor belts and cleaning filters.

Adhere to lockout tagout procedures when working on equipment.

Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols.

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting

Construction experience

Landscaping experience

General labor experience

Maintenance technician skills

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs independently

1+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, or farming

Experience working outdoors

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions typical of Indiana, including hot summers and cold winters. The environment can be dirty and dusty at times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
