ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

First point of contact in the accounting department managing communication with various stakeholders including but not limited to guests, associates, and vendors.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Receive direction from Director of Finance to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.

Responsible for cash handling and compliance with applicable requirements.

Verify, obtain approvals and pay all invoices from vendors and associates, as well as bill and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.

Provide excellent guest service and operate within company and legal standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Two years of experience in hotel accounting is preferred.

Experience with accounts payable and receivable is preferred.

Marriott systems knowledge including profitsage, birchstreet, and toast are highly preferred.

Flexible scheduling as needed for month end functions.
