The Role

Production support electricians are largely responsible for building, installing, repairing, and maintaining temporary light and power distribution equipment, various cable assemblies and extensions, and temporary telephone and announcing systems. A Production Support Electrician will also support in maintenance of temporary lighting and power installations in facilities, pier side, aboard ships, and in production shops. Production Support Electricians also troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.

Must Have

Candidates must able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces.

Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs and must take and pass a respirator fit test.

Must be able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.

Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.

Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test.

Successful completion of an electrical, technical, mechanical or vocational program or related military training OR at least 3 years experience as a commercial, residential, industrial or marine electrician or similar experience in mechanical, carpentry, auto mechanics, roofing or computer/IT.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
