Accounts Payable Associate

Job Description:\
Were looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Associate
to join our growing finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced,

Key Responsibilities
Process outgoing and internal payments in compliance with company
financial policies and procedures
Record daily financial transactions, including verifying,
classifying, and posting accounts payable data
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and
payments are accurately recorded
Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts
and monthly statements
Maintain up-to-date reporting of accounts payable status
Understand and apply expense account coding accurately
Support monthly close and financial reporting processes
Perform additional accounting tasks and financial analysis as needed
on a project or recurring basis
Requirements:
Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a comparable accounting
role
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and AP principles
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient in data entry and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)
Experience with accounting systems or proprietary software
Comfortable working with numbers and financial records
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple
priorities
Strong team player with a proactive attitude and desire to grow
within the company
Passionate about contributing to Origins values and mission

Location: Farmington, ME (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at \$21.00 per hour
Work Environment:
In-person, office-based role
Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to
Farmington, ME 04938 prior to start
May require occasional extended hours during peak periods (e.g.,
holidays).
