The Senior Scientist, QC Analytical, Cell Therapy will be the subject matter expert supporting method transfer/validation and routine testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples. You will apply technical knowledge, regulatory requirements, and scientific principles to perform complex troubleshooting and problem solving. This person will also lead projects, document revisions, deviations/investigations/CAPA, and continuous improvement efforts.
Shift Available:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Onsite 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Leads projects, corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and deviation/ investigation related tasks and/ or continuous improvement efforts.
Acts as a subject matter resource supporting method transfer/validation and routine testing of in-process, final product and stability samples.
Applies technical knowledge, regulatory requirements and scientific principles to perform troubleshooting and problem solving for non-routine, complex issues.
Reviews and approves laboratory investigations.
Acts as a subject matter expert in technical area techniques, leading method transfer/validation and routine testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples.
Conceptualizes and leads complex projects, corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs), deviations and continuous improvement efforts.
Knowledge & Skills:
Advanced ability to accurately and completely understand, follow, interpret and apply global regulatory and cGMP requirements.
Demonstrated advanced technical writing skills.
Advanced problem-solving ability/mentality, technically adept and logical.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple complex projects.
Advanced ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers, department management and cross-functional peers about task status, roadblocks and needs, locally and globally.
Demonstrated strategic thinking.
Advanced mentoring, coaching, influencing, negotiating and personnel interaction skills.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in science. An equivalent combination of higher education and experience to be considered.
8+ years of relevant QC analytical testing experience.
Proficient leadership in project execution.
4+ years of experience directly with flow cytometry within industry.
